Envirologger specialise in data collection systems and remote control for environmental monitoring instruments and systems. From a single monitor to a complete network we can digitally collect data and diagnostics, transmit via cellular, satellite or radio modem direct to your desktop, tablet or smartphone. Data can be shared with colleagues in real time or published to web pages, matrix signs, plasma screens or other data servers.

Envirologger M2M Introduction
Envirologger offer a smarter way of collecting and managing monitoring data from environmental sensors.
Unlike many older systems which only collect data on demand by polling remote data loggers via dial up modems, we use ‘push’ technology which streams data to the user over fast wireless internet connections all day every day with no input required from the user.
Similar to ‘push’ email services your environmental data can also be made simple, reliable and secure using our unique M2M (machine to machine) technology. The advantages include immediate alerts via email and SMS if concentration or status alarms are activated, automated publication to web pages, matrix signs or video screens and real time sharing with any number of stakeholders.

Web Data Logger
 |
A key component of the Envirologger system is the web logger. This small but powerful system enables almost any mixture of sensors and monitors to be connected to the system.
The web logger accepts both digital and analog inputs and is pre-programmed to communicate with a wide variety of environmental monitoring instruments and sensors. Up to 255 channels of data can be collected and each channel can have a different storage and average period from 1 minute to 60 minute intervals. Once data is read from the connected devices it is stored on an internal micro SD card and almost immediately 'pushed' to an internet data server where it is then 'pushed' to the client and other parties as required. The logger can also gather data from web cameras and traffic monitoring systems or from any sensors connected by wireless nodes so that data from a wide area around the logger can be collected without hard wiring. The logger can maintain two simultaneous data connections allowing remote control and interrogation of the remote site and its individual monitors from any internet connected PC. As the system is powered by 12V DC power it is compatible with most renewable power sources allowing use even when mains power is not available. Its internal GPS (optional) also enables it to be used and tracked on the move.

Site Manager Software
 |
Site Manager Software is a real time client solution for Envirologger data management systems. Running on all current Windows TM platforms (XP, Vista, 7) the application provides real time displays of tabular and graphical data from any number of remote sites as the data comes in from your network.
It will alert you if data is outside specified parameters or an equipment fault develops. Even if you are not in front of your PC it can alert you by email or SMS to your mobile phone.
Site manager also allows you to connect to the remote stations and run automatic calibrations or diagnostic tests on the connected monitors. It will keep you informed about the health of every site in your network and enable you to respond immediately to any events. By providing a high level of remote control via secure internet links Site Manager allows you to have a virtual presence at your remote monitoring sites without ever having to leave your desk.
Site Manager will help you to manage your data and share it with colleagues edit and mark data before publication or dissemination using dynamic edit tools, or you can automate these tasks using conditional data filtering which can be programmed. Site Manager not only helps you manage your remote data but enables you take control of your entire network infrastructure and all the equipment connected to it, thereby reducing travel time, and running costs.

Reporting & Publishing Software
 |
Archive is a windows client program that runs continuously in the background building a local database on your own PC or server. It is updated automatically every time new data is available. The data is relayed from the main communications server so there is always a backup ensuring no data is lost even if there is a complete system failure.
The local database is then accessed by Reports Client software which is designed to manage and analyse your data. Editing data, applying scaling factors, correcting for any instrument drift and any other changes can easily be applied. Data from other sources can be imported into the database and integrated with your system data before reports are generated. Report types include tabular and graphical reports which are fully configurable. Averages, minimum, maximum and % vaild data for each period are automatically generated. Specialist report types are also available to select from the menu such as wind and pollution roses, frequency distribution plots, concentration exceedence reports, polar map plots and site to site and channel to channel analysis.
Most reports can be exported, printed and captured in PDF enabling easy dissemination of data. Automated publication applications are also provided allowing web page generation and display screens to be fed with dynamic output.

Wireless Data Collection
Wireless Data Node
Now you can connect sensors to the web logger without wires. Our wireless nodes use either XBee or other licence free radion wavelengths to transmit your data from the sensor location to the logger over distances up to 2 km. The wireless nodes have the ability to accept RS232/485 or analog inpurs, plus they measure temperature and battery voltage as standard. Data is transmisteed to the web logger usinf radio which can be sent as frequently as desired. The nodes can be run on battery power and have a long life due to their abilty to 'sleep' between transmissions. They can also be run continuously where power is not an issue. Ideal for connecting met senros atop masts without wires, or for collecting an array of sensors.across a wide area. Can be powered by solar or wind generators and batteries as required and are fully deplyable outdoors in the most harsh environments. |
